Teaching in International Classes: Language and Pedagogical Strategies for Lecturers
Participants will explore institutional internationalization policies, and learn how to integrate language and disciplinary content effectively. Through modules on Content-Based Language Instruction (CBLI) and English for Academic and Instructional Purposes, lecturers will develop practical techniques to deliver content clearly and confidently to international students.
The course also emphasizes the development of oral communication skills, including English for Presentations, Pronunciation Practice, and Speaking for General Purposes, ensuring participants are equipped to lead engaging discussions, deliver impactful lectures, and support student learning across diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
By the end of the course, participants will:
